Property Safety & Security
We are delighted to announce that our Property Safety and Security framework has now launched.
The new framework is a renewal of our existing property safety and security related services offering; however we have updated, improved and expanded the services now available in relation to the safety and security of premises and people within.
The framework provides for the design, supply, install, certification, maintenance and monitoring of CCTV systems, Door Entry and Access Control Systems, Intruder Alarms, and Lightning Protection Systems; as well as the provision of Manned Guarding, Mobile Patrols, Void Clearance and Cleaning, PAT Testing, Fixed Electrical Testing and Consultancy services.
Rachel Wheeler, Senior Procurement Specialist said: “We listened to our members and saw the need to expand the current property safety and security offering and to support our members in procuring their safety and security requirements in an easy, open and transparent way. I believe this new framework will be of a great benefit to our members, offering them a choice of quality suppliers to enable them to comply with current regulations and legislation, as well as providing value for money.”
The new framework allows for direct award, ranked award, and further competition call-offs. This means that should you wish to directly contract with one of the suppliers on the new framework (from our product catalogue or for Manned Guarding, Mobile Patrols, PAT Testing, Fixed Electrical Testing, or Consultancy) you will simply need to establish an overarching contract with the supplier and then you are free to order directly with them.
Alternatively, should you wish to test the market against your own bespoke requirements, Consortium Procurement can facilitate a further competition with the framework suppliers to ensure best service and value for your organisation.
The tender has now closed for our Property Safety and Security framework, we will be undertaking the next stage of the procurement process over the following few weeks. It is anticipated that the framework will be available from 1st March 2019 for our Members to call-off from.
